Mid-life ADHD Diagnosis

October 16, 2025

I’m a psychotherapist and artist, with a new mid-life diagnosis of ADHD, which finally explained why I had so many challenges around the business side of art. I knew I wanted some support and an internet search led me to Rachel, who offered the unique skill sets of being a creative who works with the neurodivergent community. My work with Rachel has been pivotal, helping me understand my strengths and areas of struggle. She’s helped me stay focused, positive and goal-directed. I love that she has a flexible approach to coaching, allowing me to come and go as I need support and as my schedule allows. My only regret is that I hadn’t found Rachel sooner. I can’t say enough about her skills, kind and caring demeanor, and gentle but strong encouragement. One of the best things I’ve done is work with Rachel!

"Yes I can" Confidence!

August 14, 2025

Working with Rachel has been a testament to true transformation. I started out with little self-esteem and a ‘can’t do it’ attitude, and over time I’ve become a confident, productive, and ‘yes I can’ kind of creative.

Before coaching, I struggled with undiagnosed ADHD. I had trouble starting, staying focused, and believing in myself. Since working with Rachel, I’ve learned skills and communication tools that have made a huge difference in both my work and daily life. Some of the most helpful systems have been the Pomodoro technique, time-blocking, body doubling, creating declutter zones, giving things a home, taking movement breaks, regular check-ins, and organizing everything in Notion.

My biggest win was releasing four albums by my birthday, which was my goal when I started. I’ve kept that momentum going and continue to record and put out music. The accountability of working with a coach has been the most valuable part for me. Rachel helped me tremendously. I no longer see the mountain in front of me, I see each manageable step up!

Major Life Changes

May 18, 2023

I would absolutely recommend Rachel! She is a wealth of knowledge, skills, and life experience.

What sold me on working with Rachel was that she gets it! ADHD, Autism, art, and (as I later realized) cPTSD too. I came in feeling completely lost, like an endless motor with no direction. Rachel has boldly walked with me through some of the hardest chapters of my life with compassion, humor, and unwavering support. I have managed it incredibly well because of her support, coaching, encouragement and enthusiasm. I feel so grateful to have a coach, it has become incredibly complimentary to therapy as I heal from trauma. I have greatly transformed myself and my life working with her. I’ve grown more confident, self-accepting, and proud of who I am.

I often think how much suffering I could have avoided if I had a coac like Rachel in my younger years. Rachel has provided me incredibly helpful perspective with issues I could not seem to see or work past. Rachel makes me believe in myself and that I can live a wonderful life NOW and that I don't have to wait until I am “healed“. Rachel taught me that I am worthy of setting boundaries, she makes me feel incredibly accepted in ways other people have not.

We have done some incredible work in the past year and I feel honored to have a coach like her in my corner. If you're having any inkling of working with Rachel, trust your gut. I am so glad I followed mine. It has been a great and inspiring working relationship! Oh somehow each session we always end up laughing joyfully, no matter how many tears I shed in a session. Thank you Rachel for working with me and giving me a chance! Rachel reminds me that I am worth it! That my dreams are worth it! That unmasking is worth it!

Your Biggest Supporter

October 13, 2022

Having a regular schedule was really helpful to make sure I stayed on track and showed progress on my work. Rachel took a genuine interest, which stood out so much. I began working with her when I felt lost in an industry I was just getting into. Networking and staying focused were my biggest challenges. She's so organized! She helped me take big projects, that seemed overwhelming at first, and break them down into more manageable parts. Rachel helped improve my confidence and sideline my imposter syndrome. I love all the notes, resources, worksheets, handouts she has that I can look at later to refresh my memory. Rachel rocks! She will be your biggest supporter and help you move forward with your goals.
